Buy / Sell: "Hip Hop is Dead" = game for record sales?
I recently saw an interview with RA The Rugged Man, probably many of you know is one of the best underground mcs out there, and in this interview he was talking about how people, especially rappers, they say that hip hop is dead are playing on the radio, and they want you to believe is dead so it does not recognize the talent of a great underground and basically just buy their stuff. I do not I think so. Example, when Nas came out with his album Hip Hop is dead, he was not saying that hip hop is totally dead, he was saying that hip hop is current dead and the only true hip hop still out there comes from underground artists. This is really what all the MCs who say hip hop is dead means.
