Uk Music Industry History

Music Management/Production in UK?
How would I go about getting into the music management industry in UK?
I’m in year 11 now, i’m taking media, art, RE, history, maths, fast track English and seperate sciences for GCSE.
I’m staying on for 6th form and i’m dropping maths and all the sciences, and i’m hoping to take art, media, psychology and English laguage.
When i leave school, i want to get into the music industry, either on the management side or the production.
I would prefer management as i’m not great with learning technical stuff like new equipment.
Preferably, the more creative side, such as advertising or something.
What sort of path should i look at taking? What courses are there in Uni’s that i’ll need to take and where do i go from there.
Basically, please tell me as much as you can about getting into the music management industry!
Thanks,
P.
Also, is it advisable that i move away, as there’s not much in that field of work in the UK as far as i’m aware.
i would say that if you wanna get into the creative side of MUSIC then you should start getting your hands on equipment NOW. More than likely by the time you leave your school now you wont have enough experience to get into it but if you’re ambitious, anything’s possible. if you wanna do the advertising side, id recommend a degree in marketing. it’s a tough question because you can’t really LEARN how to be creative, especially with media, it kinda has to be intuitive. email me for any more questions.
