Looking for a music manager ..?
My name is Heather, I have 15 years from the UK. I've always loved singing, I have made a small area around where I live events, and would like to move forward .. My family and friends are very supportive and say they have real potential. Always has been my dream to be in the music industry, so I saw it, and it seems to help getting started, I would need a manager for the organization events, etc. through the Internet I can not seem to find any way to find or contact a manager. nobody goes to work for a child without a name. the manager has to make money, and if you can not make money trying to book someone that nobody has heard of. the sample could be booked, would not be enough to pay you and himself. for manager to work with has to prove himself as a valuable commodity. Remember, just because your friends and family say they are good, that does not mean you good enough to succeed in the music industry. Friends and family say they want to hear, so do not think you are better than any of the hundreds of thousands of people trying to find a career in music. to start out you need to make a name for yourself. start with music myspace and youtube. these sites are free, and if you can build a fan base that shows that they are negotiable. Next, continue at all possible events. next record a demo. can usually purchase equipment needed to record yourself cheaper than it costs to book a professional studio. once it has built a fan base, and have a name for yourself, managers and labels you are. but you have to put work first.
