Why the public emphasizes support for award ceremonies, which do not buy their albums, videos, CD's, to put them above the charts.We be famous, then give them an award, basically to do your job! We make them billionaires, in our low wages, benefits unempolyment, pocket money.I do not see an awards show for people that matters in life, the quiet binman, the officer most beautiful, the most efficient to the operator, the nurse or doctor who saved the most lives, the quickest way fireman, the tax collector happier, I mean the list is endless.Have not have something wrong here? And to make matters worse, do not stop at just giving these people an awards ceremony seems that everyone wants to give a prize!
I totally agree, Thomas M. Why should receive prizes and free food and drinks, in a ceremony and bags of candy then worth thousands of pounds by doing work that has already paid £ 10 billion to do? I think they should send each "winning" an e-mail saying, 'Well done, you've had a hit record / you had a small role in a movie / she managed to walk down a catwalk without falling. Keep up the good work. It will give us a small piece of cr-p that could be put in your toilet down a awaard dazzling ceremony but decided the money would be better spent solving the entire third world debt, the reconstruction of all UK hospitals and schools and payment of firemen workers nurses and police-decent salary. A much better idea.
