Rock and country rock of fantasy?
I am a giant "The Who" fan. I absolutely love them. BUT, because I have 15, I do not see in concert. The Martin Luther King day, Roger Daltrey of The Who will be peforming with 'The Rock and Fantasy Camp Rock'. This confuses me. I will see Roger Daltrey singing with new people? HELP!
Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp is an event where you can pay to be placed in a group of other campers a counselor from the rock star. The field of New York is talking about is 5 days (there are several packages – see http://www.rockcamp.com/rrfc_new_york_2010.php). Each band will write their own original song, while nailing a song really well. Each group will be advised by your counselor rock star, but also be visited in their rehearsal studios by special guest stars such as Roger Daltrey, Leslie West, Simon Kirke, so campers will also enjoy meals with rock stars and evening activities include lectures on everything from songwriting to tune your instrument. The culmination of the field is a rock show at BB Kings in Times Square in New York, where each band will perform their original song, and his song Who, Roger Daltrey, in the presence of family and friends. You can go to the concert if you will, but I would suggest that participate in the camp. It will change your life forever!
