What happen to real singing music in today’s Pop music?
Sex sells more than singing talent in today’s music it seems like Britney Lip Syncing Spears is destroying the real singing music in today’s music.30 years ago most singers sung everything live but now a days teeny boppers lip singers like Britney Spears are killing today’s real singing music.
If you want artists to sing live, you need to look outside of Pop these days, sadly. There are one or two artists who still do sing live (Robbie Williams comes to mind) but if you want real singing, you usually need to look at Rock, Country and Classical singers. No-one from any of those genres would be caught dead miming, as it’s instant career death.
If you want integrity in the mainstream it’s there, but very hard to find. Manufactured ‘artists’ are a real threat to genuine talent.
