Pop Music Tickets
PLEASE HELP me and if you don’t know please DON”T ANSWER!!!!?
I just applied for this senoir care job and I had to get a background check and what popped up was a misdemeanor for a loud music ticket that i recieved 2 years in ohio but the crazy part of this is that I work downtown at a law firm and they pulled my background check before they hired me and i passed and even my previous jobs i passed my background checks. Im currently in the military reserves and before i left to boot camp 2 years ago my recruiter told me that i needed to pay all tickets i had which was a speeding ticket and there was no music ticket that came up and if there was what happened to the notice in the mail or the warrant notice? im just worried because i dont want this to affect me in pursuing my career goal in becoming a police officer im 20 years old and i just recieved a letter to move to the next step in becoming a sherriff’s cadet which is the physical and oral interview and i don’t want to blow it because of a music ticket. please help
Well honestly i don’t think a minor offense like that would effect anything, it might raise a question, but hey i assume you were younger, you did not know any better! but they mainly look for big things like drinking, and like assault. If it is only one minor offense they should just look past it, i mean no one is perfect. If you got through the military with it, then your more then good, cause they are much more less understanding. I would not worry about it, if they ask be honest, but i doubt they will even mention it.
