MTV Europe Music Awards In 2009 Was Announced And Beyonce Got Three Prizes
Recently, 2009 annual Europe MTV Music Award was held in the capital city Berlin of Germany. It is also the same year of 20th Anniversary of dismantlement of Berlin Wall so before EMA, U2 band put on a short and free performance outside the gate of the famous Brandenburg in Germany. In order to honor the event of great historic significance, U2 performed many renowned songs for the about 10,000 crazy fans at present in 30 minutes, including One, Sunday Bloody Sunday and so on. Just several hours after the performance, U2 band became one of the earliest artists to get the awards of this MTV EMA. They won the best live act of the year for their usual outstanding performance.
The current MTV Europe Music Awards ceremony was presided by American pop star Katy Perry for the second consecutive year. And American Hip-Hop master Jay-Z, who made a guest appearance in U2′s performance in front of Brandenburg Gate many hourse before, gained “Award for Best City Music Actor”. Dressing in black jacket, and wearing black sun glasses, Jay Z received his award and said,” I am looking forward that one day all the wall like that can collapse.” There is no doubt that the most glorious musician at this stage in the evening is “Chocolate Beauty”, Jay-Z’s wife- Beyonce.

Then, in the highly competitive Best Female contention, Beyonce again won the prize from Lady GaGa, Katy Perry and "English Idol" Leona Lewis.
Next, in the most attractive "Best Video" competition. Once again, Beyonce defeated Britney Spears, Colombia beauty Sarach and American white rapper Eminem and finally won. The returning rapper Eminem did not only defeated Hop-Hop star Jay Z and Kenya West. He also defeated the representatives of European male singers Mika and Robbie Williams, and became the Best Male Singer in this year's MTV Europe Music Awards.
In the competetion for the Best Group, German pop punk band Tokio Hotel finally won by the advantage of family ground. Under the attack of several American big-name band, such as Kings of Leon, Green Day and Jonas Brothers, they won successfully.
Nevertheless, in the contest of "Award for New Artist" and "Best Special Composer Award", American popular female star Lady GaGa and British rock band Placebo won the award respectively. Considering the ownership of the various awards in the MTV Europe Music Awards this year, the hot stars coming from U.S.A. and U.K. still enjoyed absolute advantages.
