CD configuration folder missing from iTunes?
I bought an external hard drive this week, and have come up iTunes on it. The unit is in G. I added more than 400 songs, and when I turned on my computer the next day, I received a pop-up window indicating that a CD configuration folder disappeared and can not import or burn CDs. In addition to the folder is supposed to be in the same directory as iTunes. When I was in Preferences, I realized that the iTunes music location of the folder changes back to the C drive, and although originally installed on iTunes drive G, which had an iTunes folder on the C, and G units I deleted that of the C: drive. Now every time I turn on my computer I get the same pop-up, and do not know what to do. Can someone please help me!? I have Windows XP. Thanks!
may need to change the destination folder iTunes library to external hard disk. this is how I did it ". iTunes Music Store folder location" go to Edit> Preferences> Advanced> "General" tab and the first thing you see is the search for and select your hard drive. from now on, all will be downloaded to the hard drive. go to my profile page, email me if there are more problems.
