What current music will people fill nostalgic about in 30 years?
Rap, American Idol-style pop, alternative, anything I missed?
In my car I have CDs from the 1970s of Yes, Fleetwood Mac, Cars, and ELO.
That’s what takes me back – not punk or critic’s favorites like Bob Dylan. I enjoyed some of that music in the 1970s, but now I’d much rather listen to 1970s music by Elton John, Todd Rundgren, Paul McCartney, and others.
Songs that have meaning to the time a lot of cold play songs would be on my list.
