indie / britpop neo subculture? WHAT IS it called?

Ok, so I have to choose a "subculture" of an important assignment in school. For example, "emo" or "gangster" for example. But I want to do something that suits my interest is more exciting than that. Also as part of the task we have to do a compilation CD of the specific subculture, and this is why my question occurs. I'm really into indie pop British eg / Indie-pop / NEO: shock, Arctic Monkeys, placebo, Franz Ferdinand, Interpol and the villains, The Last Shadow Puppets … and that kind of culture or whatever. But my question is, is there a specific subculture for this kind of music / town? and what's his name? idk man, I was researching these things and a lot of articles refers to it as outsiders' neo-Britpop know.

seriously, wtf is "neo-Britpop '? I know what everything is and I am aware of the bands set …. I like some but not all
