Online Music Industry Schools
I design equipment for processing electronic signals, where and what I can learn?
I did some research and discovered What interests me is the electronics design which specializes in signal processing, the reason is because I want to design and create exciting new products for the music industry, mostly guitars, and specifically among other things tube amps. Really need to learn how to do amps pipe? I would also design other things like electronic instruments and effects processors, but not my main objective in particular. my next question is where a good school to do this? I live in California, and may do so online?
To make the most original, complex work in theory, it takes at least a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. However, the audio design is more standard these days (and fully optimized) so you may be able to make useful design with a degree in Electronic Engineering Technology. Excelsior College and DeVry offers TAC / accredited online degree by ABET in Electronic Engineering Technology. Grantham University offers an asynchronous (self-paced) online degree in the EEG, but not TAC / ABET-accredited.
