1099 tax help, this is my situation?

I worked as an independent contractor in 1099 in a state of a company since June. Can anyone help me with my situation procedure? What type (s) I can provide? Where do I start? Write-offs/deductions also need help with taxes. I know I can come up with a lot of work in the music industry, but some strong examples? I have almost $ 3000 in student loan interest, what about it? In addition, the car mileage thing, I can write-off my miles to / from work? I know it's like 48 cents per mile, but 26 miles per day for 6 months months seems a lot (joins as $ 1600). Any ideas / tips / advice / suggestions / etc? I have no idea what to do. Anything seems I'm not understanding OK? Thanks
