music industry sales figures
Why is the only artist releasin music lil wayne?

im sic of artists starving the industry with lack of music just so that they build anticipation for when they drop an album. but really the artist tht is constantly releasin songs is gettin the most album sales and is most popular. go figure.
so he knew about his jail time 6 years ago, when he was releasin music the same as he is today?

This is why i believe he has so many fans. Yeah people download music, but it would be nice to have another album in the collection. Lil wayne is the only one releasing albums, so that’s why many mainstream fans flock to him. Other rappers need to get on the ball and release some albums instead of waiting for like 5 years and then losing a fanbase. Lil wayne is consistent with album releases, but then again, they don’t have good quality either.

Having re-invented himself as psychedelic masked rapper MF Doom (not to mention alter egos King Geedorah and Viktor Vaughn), Daniel Dumile–formerly KMD’s Zev Love X–has fittingly teamed up with producer Madlib, who’s no stranger to aliases himself (see Quasimodo, Yesterdays New Quintet). Rap formulas of the day are given the boot on Madvillainy; most of the 22 tracks clock in at around two minut…

Usually, though, Crow and her band of L.A. session and singer/songwriter collaborators strike just the right tone. The “Stuck in the Middle with You” homage of “All I Wanna Do,” the clanking g…

This Jack Black vehicle seems, on the surface, like a perfect fit for the actor: an opportunity to showcase Black’s unique style with the extreme facial gestures and exuberant physicality that have become his forte. Black plays Ignacio, a lowly cook in a monastery in central Mexico who feeds orphans by day, and wrestles in the town square at night. Ignacio teams up with Esqueleto (Hector Jimenez)…

Knight Rider – Season One

“One man can make a difference,” intones a dying millionaire–well, one man and a superduper car, backed with millions of dollars! Welcome to the deliciously ridiculous world of Knight Rider, the early ’80s TV series that launched the career of David Hasselhoff and his magnificent coif (both later seen in the insanely popular Baywatch). After being shot in the face, detective Michael Long is …
