Music Industry Roadie

Job type Roadie while in college?
I'm going to Drexel in the music industry's most important and I want to get a job as establishing or making audio stages for bands. Any one have any experience with how to do this?
I am a lighting technician and sound. Try the theater there and see what kind of productions they have. If not, see what kind of places around Philadelphia can get a job production. Theaters, concert halls, etc. Just know that your hard work, very demanding on your body and time. I had trouble being a full time student working and this work, but I was doing it full time, which was 60 hours a week. A 12-hour day is not uncommon, and although the pay is good in general you have to put up with a lot of junk, and a lot of artists to be a pain in the ass. Overall I love my job, it's just good to know these things ahead of time.
