Music Industry Revenue Loss
Help on my research paper/ideas?
So, In our Writ class we’re supposes to write a 12 page research paper on some technological issue. I choose illegal downloading.
I need help on writing about different arguments that SUPPORT and is AGAINST file sharing. I have aready got some.
Support:
-Helps artists reach larger fanbase
-Artists don’t make a lot of money from CD sales
-Allows fans to choose more wisely
Against:
-Loss of revenue for the music industry
-Loss of potential buyers
-Against the law
I need more. Anything would help. Thanks!
For:
Allows destitute people some form of luxury/comfort
Against:
Potential for viruses (Trojan Horse)
Immoral (not the right thing to do)
Could virtually collapse the digital music industry if left unchecked.
