Why can’t i get a date?
Hi all.
I can’t work it out so I’ll throw it open to the online community. I would like to know why i can’t get a date. Now i know you guys don’t know me but any suggestions could be helpful.

- Making and listening to music (Techno, dubstep, calssic rock, minimal)

i gotta say, you’re first problem is just this. you’re 25 and posting up “why cant i get a date” on yahoo answers. im not disrespecting you in any way, i really wanna help you champ. im 20, and i am ugly as F*ck but have no problem with “getting a date” (am actually in a 2.5 year realtionship at the moment). You need experience with talking to girls bro. the type of experience that only comes from getting out there and giving it a go. no person online can tell you exactly what to say or whent o say it. if i have a few pointers that help alot they would be:
CONFIDENCE: extremely important. can only be gained from experince eg talking to girls at the bar, at uni or work. this may not mean trying to pick up every girl you talk to, but try and conversate with them.
CONVERSATION: try not to talk about yourself or open conversations with “i, me, my etc” try openeing with “hi, hows it going?” or something like that…. which brings me on to a key in conversing with women. ALWAYS ASK THEM QUESTIONS ABOUT THEM. they really love talking about themselves and seem to really like a good listener. only speak about yourself when they ask you and dont keep it light. eg
(girl) “so what do you do” (you) “i study food science and nutrition” (girl)”really, whats that like” (you)” its alright, hopefully it will pay the bills one day” (girl)” hehehe **thinking*** he has a sense of humour” (You) “and what do you do?” etc..
GET FIT: when ever you walk down the street, into a club or bar and into uni, girls will automatically judge you on your’re appearance and will make their decision on your looks alone. you wont even get to put a word in before you’ve been ruled out. hit the weights, gain sum muscle mass. i know it sounds stupid but it will atleast get you to that conversation, where you can wow them off their feet.
BE HUMBLE: beleive me, everybody hates a cocky person. be humble, even if you are the greatest nutritionist in the world and get payed 1million per day.
eg 1 (girl) “so whats it like working in the health industry?” (you) ” yea its alright, puts food on table”
eg 2 (girl) “so what is it liek working in the health industry?” (you) “yea im very high up in the company and make plenty of money. i can afford anything i like”
OPTIMISIM: there are plenty of fish in the sea. so go fishing.
well champ, i hope this helps a little and beleive me, if i can get a girl to put up with me for 2.5 years, anyone can. get out there and have fun
