Best Camcorder for Professional Music Videos?
Im looking to invest in a good camcorder (s) for creating Industry quality Music Videos. If you dont mind, share your input and I would be highly greatful

You’re talking in the $12K area for a DVCAM50 or DVCAM100 that does 4:2:2 and takes XLR inputs.
If you want to settle for lesser quality you can go into the $6k to $9K area and get a 4:1:1 DV Cam or Betacam Digital or even an analog Sony Betacamp SP (which is 4:2:2 and takes XLR).
If that’s still too rich for you, stick with the Mini-DV HD/SD compatible market. There are Canon and JVC and Panasonics and Sonys that do 1080i or 720p HD as well as 480i SD and they have 3 CCDs and cost under $1,700
