Music Industry Intern
What recording studios in LA would famous metal bands go to?
I want to become a recording engineer or music producer. I have my own studio at home and it is rather professional. Obviously I’m into death metal and thrash metal and I’ve been playing guitar for over 8 years. I am currently on my way to transferring to USC in LA to major in music industry. When I go to LA I want to intern while I am in school. However, I want to intern at a recording studio that does metal or even rock music because that is what I specialize in. Also do metal bands actually record at the record labels they are signed to? Or do they go to a different studio?
