the long term effect of the distribution of DVD’sn the film and music industry.?
In the long run I don’t think there will be any great changes. There are a lot more effects more wide screen and consumers have bigger TVs that are HD. So movies are a higher picture quality but are they are overall higher quality. No they are still the same. there are the great movies and there are the bad ones.
As for the industry getting more money I don’t know. Yes DVD are a lot cheaper and faster to produce then VHS. But then they are also Cheaper and faster for a consumer to produce and steal then buy. So in the end no big change.
