Music Industry Degree Ny
How can I become a curator after already having a B.S. degree in Finance and work experience?
I have a B.S. degree in Finance and then took some courses in art and journalism at NYU to expand my knowledge on what I am interested about; global issues and art. I later was able to change my career from being a financial analyst to working in the music industry in the PR department of a performance rights organization. But I have always been interested in art and I go to galleries and museums every other week. I am thinking on studying to become a curator but I don’t know how to do it. I already have a B.S degree and plenty of work experience in other fields. So where do I need to start to go into that path? back into getting a bachelor’s degree in art? or can I somehow study to obtain a masters degree?
Also, which university has the best academic program in NY for curatorial studies?
Since you already completed some studies at NYU why not try looking into one of their programs. From their website it looks as if they have a number of Grad programs in the arts.
