Music Industry Clubs
Things to do in the Music Industry?
I really have a passion for music, and was wondering what jobs are out there in the music industry. I cannot sing or rap. I can play a little piano, and can read some sheet music. I have always wanted to learn to play the drums, although I have not done so yet.
I have been thinking about Producing, A & R, Publicity, Managing, Working in a Night Club, and even DJing.
I like to listen to mostly Rap, Hip-Hop, Rock (Classic Rock, Rock and Roll, Alternative Rock, American Rock, Soft Rock, etc.) and some Alternative, Pop, and House. I really love music that collaborates vocals, rap, great beats, and strong drums/ chugging guitars. I also like it when songs incorporate some type of symphony instrument (i.e. violins) into a song.
Any ideas for just some jobs in the music industry that I might be interested in?
Also, what type of schooling would be needed for this type of job?
