Is it really so difficult to break into the music industry and be a rock star?
I have a year old guy friend is 17 years many social problems. I love music and the guitar and takes lessons once a week. However, he also spends about 12 hours a day in a losing WWE chat the room while talking to ppl who never meet. He has no friends in real life and even goes to school online. Low self-esteem and anxiety. He has been doing this for a couple of years and never had a band or someone to play with. Even his gf are online …. not even talk on the phone with them for fear of being too close. I love writing songs and playing guitar, but it is the insulation. He wants to be like Kurt Cobain. Things anyway, if that is what is driving think you can be a rock star? He is convinced that no body in the world like him. Thanks
Well, first I just want to say that I think Nirvana are impressive, but it is probably best for him to model himself after Kurt. That era is gone now, and there are plenty of people who think Kurt was a bitch and needed Pissy stop whining. If it is a good thing, however, could be a studio musician or composer. I mean, if you spend 12 hours a day in chat rooms and not talk on the phone with their "girlfriends" and then sounds like it's too shy to get on stage in front of thousands of people, which is what they do every night and rock stars.
