Some people love to be involved in music but can not have the talent to be an artist or writer. For the types of people, work corporate governance can be a better fit. These are just a few management jobs in the music industry that can be followed.
Concert promoter
This person organizes, promotes and encourages all kinds of concerts, tours and other live music events. Its main job is to spread the word and drive traffic to the concert so they can earn money not only for themselves but also for the band or artists are performing.
Personnel Manager or Agent
A personnel manager or agent representing a band or artist and oversee almost every aspect of the career of the band or artist. It is the person in charge of financial decisions such as how much to charge for their appearance and also deals with the performer and the image. His only goal is to make their work successful artists.
A & R Coordinator
The coordinator of artist and repertoire of for a record label to help find new talent for the company to sign on his label. The search for new artists at clubs, showcases, and competitions and listen to demos that people can send to the company. The A & R coordinator will also have a duty to find songs for artists who sing on their records too. Most of the time with the biggest record labels, the coordinator will have assistants under them to help with the search.
