Music Industry Careers Uk

Someone help? Mature people preferbly…?
Okay im 16 and shall be starting college soon..i’m from the UK but have big hopes to move to New York in a couple years, but im really hoping to make it big over there, in the music industry hopefully.. i’m going to study health and social care in college to do nursing so i can earn enough to get over there first. But i really need any advice, etc wheres cheapest to live there.. expenses.. anywhere that could help me with my singing career. All answers are appreciated. Thankyou .
Well, you may need to take a look at your priorities. If you really want a singing career, then that’s what you should be concentrating on. There is a lot of competition out there for jobs, even the lowest paying ones, in music. So just getting enough money to come to the U.S. without any experience or background in music lowers your chances of a musical career.
My nephew and his band have been trying for ten years to make a living at being a band. They even toured last year as the lead in band for a well known singer, but are all back home now working at other jobs.
Good Luck!!
