Hotel California Guitar Tabs
Whether as metaphor or innuendo of our mortality, you do not necessarily believe in ghosts to appreciate them. These ten songs and CD represent a variety of styles, from somber to playful, from traditional to experimental. Free Hotel California Guitar Tabs But they all share a sure sense of art that deals with the dead, dying, or has gone out of things.
1. Furry Sings the Blues (song) – Joni Mitchell. In this song about an old blues singer in Memphis, Mitchell is haunted by images of ghosts and of a bygone era: "Laughter Bourbon – Ghosts – and history up to the parking lots and shopping centers. "
2. The Ghost of Tom Joad (song) – Bruce Springsteen. With the provision contained, transparent and breathy singing, Springsteen conjures Steinbeck's downtrodden character in The Grapes of Wrath.
3. Ghosts I-IV (CD) – Nine Niles inches. In the first Trent Reznor is purely instrumental CD, released earlier this year, the music built around drones environment, simple piano figures and breathing ghost.
4. Happy Ghost (song) – Tori Amos. A lyrical melody, rhythmic come back as a mischievous ghost, "and I'll go chasing the nuns in the courtyard. "Subtly arranged for piano and dulcimer that is played in the form of a fiddle tune.
5. Haunted (song) – Poe. The arrangement evokes mysterious lyrics about being haunted by things past ". A closer look at the spirit before you leave"
6. Hotel California (song) – The Eagles. The hotel's ghostly title serves as a metaphor for the 1970 music industry in Los Angeles. The choice of the guitar 12 string for the introduction, the strange sound that evokes an instrument again, creates the perfect environment.

7. Hush, Hush, Hush (song) – Paula Cole, played by Herbie Hancock and Annie Lennox. In the Hancock / version of this Lennox song about a young man dying of AIDS ("skeleton, the eyes have lost their heat"), the somber tone opens on flights of jazz improvisation, most beautiful and touching evocation of a soul that is released each time I listen.
8. Spectral Ships (CD) – Richard Bone. Richly introspective pieces, ambient instrumental to create the image of the ghost ships gliding silently over the water.
9. Twilight and Ghost Stories (CD) – Chris Schlarb. An experimental collage movement without a name and a number of issues with the collaboration of 50 artists. The music weaves electronic sounds, voices, field recordings and instruments. A critic described as "an evocation of memory."
10. Thriller (song) – Michael Jackson. Campy-voice by Vincent Price, an innovative video and a big blow: what's not to love? Considering how the pop idol later used plastic surgery to reshape your face into something monstrous, the song was prescient … an example of life imitating art?
