Music Industry Autotune
What do you guys think of today’s music when compared to the classics?
It seems that today’s music (if you would call it that) is in my opinion, rubbish.
What happened to the classic style of songwriting? The lyrics back in the day were meaningful and had soul.
I was born in the 90′s and this question was probably asked back when the 70′s were the present and the 50′s and 60′s were the classics.
Point is, it seems it takes less talent to be successful in today’s music industry than back in the day.
Is this how music evolves?
If so, then I guess my would be children’s generation’s music would all be autotuned and T-Pain would be inducted into the Autotune Hall of Fame.
What’s your opinion?
And yes, there is some good music today, although you cannot find much in the mainstream stuff.
I think the 90′s was the best decade of music.
