Will country music ever have a LGBT singer?
Though its difficult to be LGBT and make it in the music industry, its nearly impossible to do it in the country music industry because of its affiliation with strict-religious interpretations and, dare I say it, ‘redneck-types’. There was some gossip a few years ago that Ty Herndon was gay because of his bathroom encounter with an uncover police officer…supposedly looking for sex…Herndon later blamed it on “drug use”. His career rapidly faded into the shadows of the new comers…not to mention the gossip with Kenny Chesney….so do you think country music (though I particularly dislike it, my family loves it) will ever have a LGBT singer that can be open about their sexuality?

well Taylor Swift looks like a drag queen…i’m sure they’re more liberal than you’d expect.
