Music Industry Advertising Agencies

What is important if you want to work for a record company, a magazine or fashion industry?
I was thinking of something huge, like commmunications or advertising with a minor in graphic design. I wish I had some kind of lucrative career in magazines, music industry, or perhaps fashion industry. I was thinking maybe that specialize in communications or advertising, and maybe a minor in graphic design. Maybe even an advertising agency? I do not know. Something creative. All information is widely accepted.
Major in marketing and minor in Communication. Or you can choose programs fashion marketing or marketing if you want to enter the fashion industry. You have to decide what you want and stick with it. Just take classes that require for graduation. Otherwise, you will lose money if you keep changing your major. Tuition is not cheap and it will take forever to graduate if you keep changing opinion.
