What’s Wrong With My Podcast’s RSS Code?
I’ve copied an RSS xml script from a book, and have fed it to feedvalidator.org, and it tells me that it’s invalid code. Can anyone help? It doesn’t seem to like the second last line , telling me there’s a syntax problem.

IMHO and Experience, tutorials in book are not always correct as I have found too many times myself. Often the author of the book has no real experience in the subject but had a programming background which is what they are relying on, example, I purchased a Web Design book to give me some practical advice as I was doing a HTML course and found that the book was only useful for a door stop even though I paid nearly £30 for the book. By contrast I purchased a HTML reference guide from a discount book chain for £1.99 and it served me far more use than the glitzy know it all book for £30 by some American up herself author who I will point out made lots of references to “Her” site(s) and “How” she does things and that’s one other issue, she kept departing from what is common practice regarded as “Industry Standard” procedure in making a compliant website.
Try the on-line help sites, they will be more up to date and far more help than the book you have.
