Free DVD Audio Ripper?
I have some music DVD whose audio I want to start, but I have a DVD audio ripper. Can anyone recommend a free program to copy the files to a standard audio format (. wma mp3 o.. hopefully)?
The process for doing this can be tricky. First Instead you have to copy a DVD VOB files to SmartRipper http://www.downseek.com/download/21649.asp can then use a program called http://www.divx-digest.com/software/dvd2avi.html DVD2AVI to extract the audio. Just go to File -> Open, load the first vob file and the rest will be loaded automatically. Then save the project somewhere. This will give you a project file can be removed if desired and a wav file. Once you have wav you probably want to turn it into an mp3. Recommend http://www.jetaudio.com/download/ JetAudio to convert audio. But if you want to download a large program, try http://www.mthreedev.com/download.html WAV to MP3 Encoder
