Do you think that iPods are CIM as lasers, mini discs and TiVo?
I just bought a new mobile phone that does not have enough memory to store more than one mp3 …… very similar to an iPod, but like all music … I can also phone, take pictures and surf the net …. Do you think The iPod is only a fad due to growing characteristics of a mobile phone? ps I'm from Spain, and TiVo never took off here, but now we didital Satalite TV allows us to pause, record and rewind live TV (the same as TIVO), but we have about 300 television channels on it. yans2276 … with my wireless network that you can buy music online with my phone over 3G
The iPod is just a memory stack. You can buy music online, organized in iTunes and syncing with your iPod. You can not do this with any other mp3 player or phone. In the long term, some combination of devices, but based on what customers want, not what is technologically possible.
