Mp3 Music Hub
I have a problem with a mp3 player and usb speed?
I have just bought the Creative Labs Zen Vision: M 30 GB MP3 player that can have pics,music,videos, and movies. My problem is when i put the CD in the computer it says SP1 required, which i can get on the internet by dragging my computer to this one and plugging in internet into mine. The other problem however i can’t solve, when i put the usb connection between the MP3 player and computer it says that I have inserted a ukown USB device that is Hi – Speed (2.0) into a USB port that is not hi-speed ( I only have one USB hub on my computer.) How would get a Hi-speed USB hub?
Your current PC has a USB version 1.0. You will have to buy USB 2.0, either by getting a PCI card or getting a USB 2.0 Hub which could connect to your 1.0. They look exactly the same and they go into the same slots and should be compatible, but USB 2.0 just operates faster. The fact that your PC says its an unknown device means you have to install the driver and programs for the MP3 player first, you can get those with the CD provided or on the manufacturer’s website. If you already have done that, uninstall it and try again.
