Is this making CD’s through Youtube illegal?
Alright, so I have a question concerning the legality of making CD’s..
Basically I bought some blank CD’s, because I decided I wanna go back to using a CD player as I’m bored of the over-used ipod. Anyway, what i did was find out what songs where on a certain album I wanted, and I downloaded the songs off of a youtube downloader. Which means that I found a video of the song I wanted on youtube, be it the video was of the music video or just a lyrics video, than used this thing that converts videos to mp3, and burned the converted files to a CD. is this illegal? technically it’s not because someone posted the video anyway, and i’m simply converting it right? Also, i’m of course not going to sell them or anything, I just pop them in my CD player to listen to.
That’s fucking dumb though, cause the video of the whole song was posted anyway, i’m just converting the files yeah?
It’s not illegal yet, but it will be soon if people keep asking these questions.
