what is wrong with my Philips 8 GB mp3 player?It jeeps displaying a message saying “File format not supported”
i bought the philips GoGear 8 GB mp3 player.It worked really well for awhile & i loved it.But about 2 months ago it quit working properly.I can still look at the pictures i had on it and listen to the radio but when i put music on it and try to paly it a message pops up saying file format not supported .so i tried deleting everything off of it and then putting it back on it and it still continued to dispaly the message.I also tried pressing the reset button & going to settings and turn it back to factory settings and nothing works.What should i do to try nad fix the prolem.It’s a hundred dollar mp3 palyer and i refuse to let it go to waste! Please help!?!
The way to fix this issue is to have the CD Rom in the drive and use the Repair function in the Device/Firmware Manager. Follow the instruction on how to do the repair, and it should fix the issue.
