Mp3 Music Editing Program
how do you turn a music / mp3 to become a minus1?
I’ve been having this trouble on how to edit mp3s. I want to remove the vocals from a music layer (mp3). I’ve been using different kinds of music editing programs like wavepad and yet I still couldn’t figure out the vocals of the music I want to edit.
If there’s a software or a program out there on how to remove the vocals from a music or simple just turn a music to minus1, pls tell me.

An MP3 is *not* a set of discrete tracks that you can manipulate and edit independently. It’s a pair (assuming stereo) of tracks reflecting left and right speakers… so the MP3 contains a representation of the instantaneous noise from each speaker.
The vocal and the music are all carried in the same single representation. Within reason you can’t edit out the vocal… you can do it by hand by adjusting the MP3 to ‘remove’ the vocal effect point by point… but it’s like removing all the shirts from a picture of a crowd, a really difficult job that has to be done manually. You’d be looking at hundreds of hours to get a pretty awful sound.
Or of course you could hope that the audio is spatially seperated and that a computer could work out where the vocal track originated in space compared to the instrument sources… and synthesize a vocal-free track. But this software doesn’t exist in the public market and would need immense computing power to achieve.
Not worth it, go find a music-only MP3 of the same track.
