I Am Quiting COUNTRY MUSIC- No more Country music for me?
I’ve been feeling bad for the past week due to problems with my peeps here at home and at college- I Live in California(most people call it Los Angeles) but i live like 40 minutes away from it- well the thing is that people are calling me weird things for being a loyal country music fan- i love it so much, i only listen to the country station and i wear my boots-i feel good about myself. all my friends and just people in general and way different they listen to Hip-hop-pop-r&B and lady GaGa and all that crap and i’m against it because if you listen to that music they only that about SEX-SEX- AND MORE SEX and i dislike that- and i heard Kara diorguardi the judge from American Idol that if you’re not from the south (Nashville) you are NOT going to be taking seriously by them,because it’s a cultural thing and i’m obviously not from Nashville ,i’m from stupid california where only shallow and heartless people live- WHAT SHOULD I DO GUYS?
A wise man once said “kiss my country ass” if people don’t like our music or the way we live then tell them to kiss your ass, i’m a farm boy from the mid-west and let me tell ya i’m more country then half the people in the south. If this who u are and it makes you feel good then why are letting people get to you. personal i take pride in the fact that my music and life style dosen’t fit in with the mass pop culture. as far not being from the south listen to josh thompson new music, he’s from wisc. and nashville is loving him right now.
