J-pop recommendations?
I’m kinda a newbie with this type of music.

And I’ve listened to some anime openings and endings songs, from like InuYasha, Code Geass, & Death Note.

BoA sung some songs for Inuyasha, so you may want to check out some of her music.
YUI is another good J-Pop artists. She is popular in Japan. She sings pop-rock like songs.
I also highly recommend checking out Hello! Project artists. This includes music groups called Morning Musume, C-ute, and Berryz Koubou.
