Why do people on here keepin asking if Hip hop is dead???????
I’ve never heard anything, anywhere about Hip hop dying, except for the song Nas made, which if you listen to it, is not even what its really about.
You can google search the number 1 selling music in the world and it’ll come up hiphop/rap, in the world, not just U.S.A.
unbelievably for me, country is number 2, rock and roll number 3, i thought country would be at the bottom of the list.
Hip Hop is not dying, there are, I will admit, some shitty rappers out there right now with no depth/ meaning, but that happens in every Genre of music.
where are people getting this info from that hip hop is dead.
turn on mtv, vh1, bet, they even play hip hop video’s in between movies on the movie channels on cable, hip hop fashion labels make the most money also, hip hop jewelry,
I would say, hip hop came from the gutter and took over the entire music industry, the people that think that its dead or even dying, obviously know nothing about the music or its history.
Who is gonna decide when its dead? Its all on you, if you think its dead thats only to you. Theres gonna be a lot of people like me who know better and know where the good music is atdespite what people think about hip/hops exterior.
