Looking training in music (hip hop preferences or metal)?

When I was in high school, I was captain of the basketball team and is always given the task of making mixtapes for heating. Oh, glory days of my old man who was in tune (no pun intended), which is pumped to one. Now, however, not so much. I've been lifting weights with a playlist has not been updated for about 5 years. I do not listen to rap and metal more than for when I exercise. Nothing is better than to "get going". Any help? I would appreciate any artist name (songtitles too, would be better) that meet these requirements. And while some people like dance and techno, when it works, I'm not one of them. So the last (2000-2008) rap and metal. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Hey, does anyone know Daniel Day-Lewis listened to Eminem in his trailer on the set of Gangs of New York? He says he did it to get angry to get into the mentality Bill the Butcher. Useless information, I know.
