hip hop turntables images
who do you think is ruining hip hop’s image?

my opinion on who is killing hip hop

1.the rappers
rappers now rap with for the money and only for the money, everyone of there songs is about getting money, hos, rims, bling bling, ALSO SAYING THE SAME THING OVER AND OVER 20X IN EVERY SONG, also they dont educate themselves, krs one for example would study books and literature, thats why his rhymes are concerning things that are going on, “MC’s adopt, the styles I drop
“They got no direction, they got no direction, they got no directionSo they wanna go pop
Chasin the charts up and down like suckers
Totally ignoring their sisters and brothers”

very true

2.the fans
do u realise all of the top “artists” fans are all 13-18 year old (mostly girls) kids, you try and tell them these dudes aint hip hop, they aint even using turntables and there like “whats a lp” there just very ignorant and dont know anything exept, ipods, myspace,

tell your thoughts

Simple. Money, females, cars, jewelry, and Clothes.

You are right. Todays rappers FAIL to educate themselves and their peers and BTW im 17 and i listen to Older Rappers Like Ice Cube, Nas, 8-Ball and MJG, Bun B, T.I., and 2pac. Those rappers i just mentioned have HEART and SOUL in their music which tells people about reality to help them understand it better and to also express themselves.

While newer Rappers like Lil Wayne and Soulja Boi and some others only talk about Dancing and Flossing.

Like DMX said once in his rhymes:”If you flashin’ it u must not want it, u dun up and done it , u know what time it is, RUN IT!”

and like G. Malone Said:”You can buy anything but not the Streets Respect”.

Rappers like Kanye, Jadakiss, Lupe, and Common and a couple of others have that Heart and Soul in their music that we crave while others want the Hype and the lime light and not the Truth to living life
