Hip Hop Tupac Shakur
Why do you think so many people like hip-hop and not metal?
Let’s face it, the hip-hop crowd is growing too large. But why can’t people admit that hip-hop died when Tupac Shakur did? He was the only rapper I respected before I stopped listening to hip-hop. Too many artists are in hip-hop just for monetary gain. I hate how artists like Souljah Boy can call that crap they do real music and still make money from it. Now metal, metal has always been about the people. It’s always been about the music, never the money. Metal, in my opinion, is a much better form of musical art than hip-hop.
This is not being ignorant, actually, it is the plain truth. Hip Hop is liked by too many people. People want superficial things with money these days. Metal is about non-conforming to society. What else is better than that? Metal was popular in the form of pop-metal or glam metal, now it’s nu-metal. That is what the mainstream wants, something with less technicality like death metal or real good metal. And real metal will stay out of the mainstream. If it went popular, we all know it would be watered down to the taste of not so real music fans. Screw the mainstream then.
