Question about selling instrumental tracks.?
Ok, I am an aspiring hip hop music producer that makes instrumental tracks in my free time. After several months of producing tracks, I’ve gathered a couple of CDs filled with beats. The problem now is that there arent any local artists in my community that I can sell my beats to. What can I do to start selling my tracks?
like young child said, Myspace is a good place to start. get yourself an artist profile and work from there.
also it doesn’t hurt to just start sending your cd’s out to labels / artists.
go to clubs, concerts, and get your husle on. make sure you got your digits / e-mail on the cd’s though so people can hit you up!
