Dancing camps questions?
I want to go to a dance camp/ after-school activity but I can’t find one in my area, every-time I look up “dance camps near _____” I just ballet camp results, here’s my question…
What would I call a dance camp where they learn techno/pop/hip hop music dances, such as the “shuffle” or the “spongebob” dances? lol
And, is there any in NY that you know of?

The reason you just find ballet for the most part is because summer intensives are supposed to help your technique for dance and are for advanced dancers.
If you are looking for street dance classes. You could try workshops instead of camps/intensives. If by NY you mean NYC, check our Broadway Dance Center, Dance New Amsterdam, Peridance and Steps on Broadway. They have hip hop classes and workshops.
