Why is popular Hip Hop ruining the african american race?
As an african american im tired of these dumb rappers speaking for my culture. Now don’t get me wrong, there are some good rappers like Jay-z, nas, Lupe Fiasco and a lot of the alternative rappers but these pop rappers only say stupid things and they promote violence, obsession with worldly possessions, and ignorance. Many of you people won’t agree with me on this but here is a warning: if these dumb rappers keep feeding young people this street crap the black race will be extinct within the next 20 years.

I am also a African American, young i might add. The truth is I would like to believe that rappers are ruining our culture. BUt in reality they’re not, I would blame ourselves. The rappers are only attempting to make money in a quick and legimate way. It is simply our failure that we don’t inform our young black people that what they rap about is not the only life we can have or that we do have. Also we or should i say older adults have failed to insteal morals or remind children that rappers and material should not be held so high. BUt because many of us or African Americans never have had these material things they seek any and everyway to get them.But i do she how you would develop that opinion.
