What is a good keyboard to make hip-hop beats?

I am new to making music and I want to be able to make some hip-hop beats that I can rap to. I have FL Studio but it’s not that good for making rap beats so should I stick with a program and make beats with that or should I get a keyboard? I am looking within the 300 dollar price range, and I want it to be able to plug straight into my computer USB. It needs to have a lot of sounds that would be good for beats but not cheesy things. I can’t understand what they say in the reviews for the keyboard because I don’t know the terms. I don’t want cheesy sounds and it should be from a good brand. Also, once I actually get the keyboard and connect it, how could I actually get the notes that I played on the keyboard onto the computer so it records with I go, like what program could do that. Thanks so much if you give me a good answer, I would be so thankful =)

Lemme break this down for ya

FL Studio is fine for making rap beats (check mine out – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ye-3WVLZPEI) but all you have to do is download some different vsts and drum kits. dont use the ones that come with FL Studio, they suck. Theres a lot of free drum kits. As far as the keyboard, check out some midi keyboards because thats about the price range youre looking for. M-Audio Keyrig 49, M-Audio Axiom 49, or Akai MPK 25. Those are some pretty common keyboards. I’d probably recommend the Axiom because it has 49 keys which is nice, and it has 8 drum pads. If you wanted to spend a bit more, I’d go with the Akai MPK 49, but i think its like $450. any other questions message me on youtube

Keyboardist Herbie Hancock’s remarkable career took a surprising turn with this funk album–one of the first jazz albums to be certified gold. Hancock’s already-storied career had included an extended tenure with Miles Davis as a member of both the classic quintet of the ’60s and the trumpeter’s groundbreaking electric dates. As a leader, the pianist had followed a similar course, cutting both out…
