What should I sing for my audition?
I'm auditioning for American Idol, what would be the best song to sing? Something not over the top, showing my skills, and is not used in many auditions. PS I am a tenor, and could sing different styles like pop, hip hop, R & B, blues, jazz and classical opera.
I really recommend a song by Josh Groban. I know, I know, "Josh Groban, very well. Whoopee." But many of his songs are in the same range of pop / classical and honest can be used as test pieces for anything.
