Eminem and Drake Album Sales?
I was wondering to all of you fans of these artists do you think if eminem would release his album earlier beating the bootleggers would had outsold drake not hating on drake i love both of theseguys more than anyone in hip hop just tell me whatu think
Although I am a fan of both artists I must argue that Eminem would outsell Drake. Eminem out sales every hip hop artist because of his massive fan base and the major push behind him. He has outsold Kanye, Lil Wayne, 50 Cent, & Jay-Z. These are the biggest hip hop stars and usually sell the most units. We can assume although Drake is stamped by every above mentioned artist he cannot outsell Eminem. Both of their cds were leaked and I think this will be more harmful to Drake than Eminem. Eminem’s fan base will commit more to buying his CD than Drake’s will. Also Eminen has extra time to plan a strategy to combat the leak. But I am hoping, after listening to both albums numerous times, that they both go on to sell multi-platinum level success. But regrettably I don’t buy CDs.

Eminem: Crossing the Line $10.95 “God sent me to piss the world off,” Eminem boasts on his breakthrough hit “My Name Is.” A grandiose claim to be sure, but it’s hard to imagine another rapper generating as much controversy and outrage as this bleach-blonde Detroit MC outlaw while still selling millions of records and becoming a hero to pop fans and hardcore hip-hop purists alike. The sharp-tongued product of crushing poverty and … |
