Why do clubs have stupid dress codes?
Like no hats, jeans, or street shoes. Yet they have dancefloors where they play rap and hip hop. Does anyone see the disconnect? People who actually know how to dance to hip hop like to wear hats, jeans, and street shoes when they dance. Why do these clubs think they have to be so hoity toity? So contrived, if you as me.
Well if they want their club to be glamorous and appealing, then why don’t they go the extra mile and hire a live pianist to play Mozart concertos or a jazz band rather than play hard rap with explicit lyrics. It’s just such a weird disconnect to me.
i know what you mean! i hate that! i live in nyc and hate going to places that have crazy dress codes. when i go out dancing with my girlfriends i just wanna dress casual, comfy, and me!
