There is a lot of stigma out there that says people who learn through watching DVDs never become good or that the DVDs are just a waste of money. DVD also allows nobody to judge you because you can dance in your own home without anyone watching. I had a friend who got sick of going to the dance studio because people were always checking her out and it make her feel uneasy.
If you simply watched a DVD dance lesson at him you can avoid issues and problems such as those. It is often much better to enjoy a dance lesson in the comforts of your own privacy. You can even invite friends to take the lessons with you if you prefer people that you know dance along with you.
Dance lessons by DVD also allows you to move at your own place. Whereas in a studio you have to move at the trainers pace, the DVD allows you to tailor to your own needs and move as fast or as slow as you need to.
